Profile
I completed an MSc in Ecological Economics at the University of Leeds’ School of Economics and Environment with Distinction. My studies covered Ecological Economics, post-Keynesian macroeconomics, and Neoclassical Economics.
My dissertation, “To What Extent Does Degrowth Academia Engage with Theories of Change? - A Systematic Narrative Review,” was referenced and utilised in a report for the ToBe project, part of the European Commission’s Horizon Research and Innovation Programme.
I was awarded a PhD studentship from the Economic and Social Research Council’s White Rose Doctoral Training Partnership, and I am now completing a PGCert in Social Research (Interdisciplinary).
I worked as a research assistant to Milena Büchs on “Review: Sustainable lifestyle policies and fairness implications in the EU” for the European Commission’s project “Policy Review of R&I in Sustainable Lifestyles for Climate Neutrality: Evidence from the EU”.
Research interests
My research interests are the macroeconomics of the sustainability transition, in particular the role of central banks in a transition to a sustainable economy. My research utilises the heterodox economic perspectives of Ecological Economics and Post-Keynesian Economics. I will be utilising and developing SFC modelling within my research.
