Profile
I am currently a PhD student at Leeds University Business School. My academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information System from King Saud University, followed by Master of Science in Business Analytics from Drexel University. Before starting my PhD journey, I worked as Lecturer at Saudi Electronic University where I gained valuable experiences in teaching courses in E-commerce and Management Information System.
Over the years, I have developed a strong interest in data use, analysis, and utilization for decision-making, with particular attention on adopting technologies that would deliver the utmost value from data.
Research interests
My current research interests lie in the field of technology trust and adoption, with a particular emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI). I am particularly focused on understanding how individuals and organizations adopt and adapt to emerging disruptive technologies, and the critical role that trust plays in shaping this process. This involves examining the drivers and barriers to AI acceptance, the interaction between technological innovation and human perception, and the broader implications for organizational readiness, strategic adaptation, and decision-making.
