Profile
Mr Mohammad Mobarak Hossain completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in International Business at the Department of International Business, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He began his professional career as a research consultant at a multi-disciplinary consultancy firm before moving on to the banking industry, where he worked for three years as a risk management officer at a multinational bank. In 2017, Mr Hossain joined the Department of International Business at the University of Dhaka as a Lecturer, and he has since been promoted to the position of Assistant Professor. He is currently on study leave to pursue his PhD in International Business at the Leeds University Business School (LUBS), University of Leeds, United Kingdom, which is fully funded by the Bangabandhu Overseas Scholarship from the University of Dhak, Bangladesh.
Research interests
Mr Mobarak's research interests are centred around various aspects of international business, including the Global Value Chain, SME internationalization, International Business Policy, Regional Agreements, and Connectivity.
