Profile
Mr Mohammad Mobarak Hossain completed a graduate, and a post-graduate major in International Business from the Department of International Business, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mr Mobarak started his professional career as a research consultant in a multi-disciplinary consultancy firm, then moved to the banking industry, where he worked for three years in a multinational bank as a risk management officer. Then, he joined the department of International Business, University of Dhaka, as a Lecturer in 2017. Now, he is an Assistant Professor and on study leave to pursue his PhD in International Business at the Leeds University Business School (LUBS), University of Leeds, United Kingdom. The Bangabandhu Overseas Scholarship, University of Dhaka, fully funds his PhD program.
Research interests
Mr Mobarak’s research interests include Global Value Chain, SME internationalisation, International Business Policy, Regional Agreements, and Connectivity.
