Profile

Previously I studied politics and international political economy at London School of Economics and King’s College London, respectively. I have worked in consulting and research prior to undertaking this PhD.

Research interests

I am primarily interested in development and underdevelopment, and seek to understand how hierarchies in global systems effect or perpetuate underdevelopment at the national level. 

I intend to explore this issue through the lenses of subordinate financialisation and economic dependency in Indonesia. My study will employ a mixed-methods design (econometrics, financial statements, interviews, historical).
