Profile

Annette Butterworth is a first-year PhD student at Leeds University Business School. Her main research interest centres on the Internationalisation of Education in Low-Income countries. For her MSc thesis, she wanted to have a better understanding of the meaning and rationales of Internationalisation in low-income countries early education especially focusing on Uganda. For her PhD Thesis, she is working under the supervision of  Dr Yvonne Moogan and Dr Louisa Hill. Specifically, Annette wishes to understand and compare how internationalisation in low-income countries pre-primary education differ from that of the developed world.
