Profile

Roland is a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of Leeds, Leeds University Business School, UK, studying for a PhD in International Business - Business and Economics. Roland’s research is based in the Centre For International Business at the University of Leeds (CIBUL). His research focuses on Africa and takes an International Business Policy perspective to explore the first aspiration of the Agenda 2063 Development Plan- Inclusive Economic Growth and Sustainable Development for Africa. He holds an undergraduate degree in Contemporary and Professional Studies and an MSc. International Business (with Study Abroad) from the University of Leeds. Roland brings an interdisciplinary approach to his research. His research is supported by a Leeds University Business School - International Business Scholarship.  

Research interests

Roland’s main research areas include international Business Theory, International Business Policy, and Inclusive Economic Growth and Sustainable Development. Specifically, his research looks to explore and understand how the International Business Policy of Regional Integration informs Inclusive Economic Growth and Sustainable Development in Africa. The interdisciplinary research includes International Business, International Political Economy, and Economics theories and perspectives. His research aspires to meet the University’s Ph.D. studentship, which calls for criticality and knowledge creation that makes and creates Impact. The research aspires to “The Double Helix” - contributing to academia through theory and practice through policy! Learning is the only Constant!!!!
