Alumni networking in Dhaka
The Business School hosted an alumni networking and social event in Dhaka, Bangladesh in December.
Professor Muhammad Moshfique Uddin, Chair in Financial Management & Departmental Director for Internationalisation at Leeds University Business School was pleased to facilitate a networking dinner at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka Hotel, Dhaka.
Graduates from the past 40 years met to reminisce and network with fellow alumni, whilst hearing about the latest news from the Business School today. Alumni exchanged ideas and showed huge enthusiasm and views on how to strengthen the network with suggestions to develop a new LUBS alumni group in the region, proactively work as LUBS ambassadors, and to have regular events.
Professor Uddin said of the event:
I was delighted to meet with our alumni in Dhaka and I believe the evening was a great success in creating bonds among our graduates in Bangladesh, which many of them wish to develop further. It was good to hear about their experiences at Leeds, and how they want to develop their network and encourage prospective students to follow in their footsteps.
Wherever our alumni are in the world, they can benefit from a varied programme of events and activities that continues to grow and strengthen their professional skillset. As a graduate of Leeds University Business School, you’ll always be connected to the school and the friends you’ve made during your time here.
