Sustainable Finance Conference 2026
On 24 April 2026, the Accounting and Finance Department at Leeds University Business School hosted the Sustainable Finance Conference 2026 with the Cardiff Sustainable Finance Research Group.
The conference was organised by co-chairs Dr Ahmet Karpuz (Leeds University Business School) and Dr Onur Kemal Tosun (Cardiff Sustainable Finance Research Group).
The conference featured parallel sessions addressing key themes in sustainable finance, including the financial implications of climate and biodiversity-related risks, ESG reporting, greenwashing, and investor behaviours. The keynote speech was delivered by Professor Philipp Krueger (University of Geneva). His talk, titled “Sustainable Finance Fatigue”, offered timely insights into emerging challenges in the field.
