Leeds University Business School partners on ground-breaking Africa Science Entrepreneurship Programme

Leeds University Business School is proud to announce its involvement in a ground-breaking new initiative: the Africa Science Entrepreneurship Programme, which launched on Friday 27 September.

This 10-month-long programme facilitated by Dr. Jane Khayesi, aims to empower grassroots technology-based entrepreneurship across the African continent. It is being delivered in partnership with esteemed institutions such as the British Council, IBM Research Africa, the National Research Foundation, and the South Africa Radio Astronomy Observatory.

The programme seeks to cultivate entrepreneurial talent within the science and technology sectors, offering participants the opportunity to develop innovative solutions to some of Africa’s most pressing challenges. Through mentorship, skills development, and real-world business applications, participants will be equipped to transform their ideas into scalable, impactful ventures.

The Africa Science Entrepreneurship Programme aligns with Leeds University Business School’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and innovation in emerging economies.
