LUBS alumni reconnect in Toronto
The Business School were delighted to host a networking and social event in Toronto for LUBS alumni last week.
Alumni joined Stephen Pigott, our International Marketing Manager for a relaxed evening of socialising over drinks and refreshments at the Walrus Pub & Beer Hall in Downtown Toronto. The event gave our alumni the opportunity to reconnect, network, exchange stories and memories of Leeds and plan for future meet-ups.
Alumni in attendance were from a variety of postgraduate programmes from varying graduating years. Many attendees were from a variety of nationalities, and had moved to Canada for the first time after graduating and had lived and worked in other countries, showing how diverse and internationally recognised and valued our degree programmes are.
Stephen said, about his visit “I was pleased to catch up with our alumni and find out how they have all gone on to have brilliant careers at internationally recognised organisations, agencies and start-ups. Some alumni had volunteered with the Business School in the past and some were interested in volunteering for activities in the future too.”
