Exploring the art of building and thriving in a portfolio career, and geared towards professionals of all seniorities, this session promises a wealth of insights from a distinguished panel of business leaders who have mastered the intricacies of a portfolio career. Be inspired by Jane Barrett, Raghav Kanoria and James Brown, each with a unique story to tell, and learn how they transitioned into a diverse and fulfilling portfolio.

About the speakers
Raghav Kanoria
Raghav, a LUBS MBA alum, is a Pioneer in the angel, acceleration and start up community in East India and an active member of the global tech eco-system as investor and strategic alliance advisory stakeholder. His activities include investments in technology companies in India, Europe and USA, market entry and joint ventures between large Indian corporate houses, high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals primarily between India and Europe/ USA. He is the First Co Founder of Calcutta Angels Network, the only angel network in East India and Founder & Partner of East India's leading accelerator-Neoleap Ventures. Raghav is Partner in Anchor Group, Switzerland which is a boutique investment firm for Series A, B companies in Europe/ USA and also advises on cross border market entry and Joint Venture partnerships. He is also an International Speaker at HORASIS (a leading knowledge centre for academics/ investors/ political brass/ businessman and corporates).
Jane Barrett
Jane is the Founder of Career Farm Ltd and Co-Author of two books, the most recent being 'How to Take Charge of Your Career' published by Bloomsbury. Previously a Director of Norman Broadbent Plc, a search and selection company, Jane recruited for a range of organisations in sectors such as banking, FMCG, IT, telecoms as well as private, and start-up companies. She was also an In-House Recruitment Manager for PwC where she recruited MBAs, Masters and experienced executives globally for the London office in the specialisms of IT, Process Improvement, and Strategy across all industry sectors up to Partner level. Jane shares her established portfolio career, having developed and enjoyed diverse professional activities for many years.
James Brown
James, Director of Savitas, is an ILM Level 7 executive coach and member of the International Coaching Federation. He has worked across international markets and in senior leadership roles including 10 years operations and engineering experience with BG, Lubrizol and BHP followed by 13 years consulting experience based out of UK, France, Singapore and Malaysia. James was formerly a Director in Accenture’s Strategy and Consulting practice. He is an MBA, a Chartered Chemical Engineer and a certified user of Thomas International's Personal Profile Analysis. He specialises in consulting and supporting business schools and MBAs with developing consulting skills and transitioning into a career in consulting. James shares his new portfolio career, having stepped away from a prestigious corporate career in consulting.
