Register: The psychology of coaching - tips for leaders and managers

Most leadership experts agree that leaders and managers benefit from learning more about psychology. Psychology is not the "soft" stuff – it's often the hard stuff for people promoted to a leadership position with little training in people management.

This webinar introduces you to the psychology behind the practice of coaching, and the reasons why coaching is effective. Kim Morgan will share a few easily applicable coaching techniques which will help you motivate, support and lead your teams, and develop your own range of leadership behaviours, including:

  • Why coaching works
  • The attributes of a leader as coach
  • The key skills of coaching – listening and powerful questions
  • Impact of stress and attention
  • Impact of the line manager’s style.

This webinar will be hosted using Zoom. Zoom access information will be sent after registration, one week before, one day before and one hour before the event. If you have difficulty receiving the Zoom link, please contact alison.edmonds@thecareerfarm.com
