Creative collaborations in the global economy: a seminar for creatives and innovators

This seminar for Global Careers Month will help to equip the creatives and innovators of the future with the cross-cultural understanding you need to make your mark in the global economy.

This event has now been cancelled.

This seminar is open to students and staff at the University of Leeds.

Creativity is a core attribute for all knowledge workers to develop. This seminar will explore the roots of Western and Eastern ideas of creativity, its enactment and evaluation through people, process and products. Applying frameworks for cross-cultural understanding it will prepare you to collaborate more effectively with people from other cultures. In today’s economy this is essential, as you will certainly work with people from different backgrounds during your career.

The session with Natascha Radclyffe-Thomas, Professor in Marketing and Sustainable Business at the British School of Fashion, will challenge stereotypes and examine common beliefs about creativity. Come along if you want to harness the power of diverse groups as well as reach your own creative potential!
