Panel Member Bios

Mike Buck - Mike is a technology consultant with experience of software delivery and management consulting. He is currently CEO of a Private Equity backed boutique technology consultancy specialising in IT and Enterprise service management and operating model transformation. Mike ran BJSS until its acquisition by CGI in early 2025. He holds an MBA from Henley and a BSc in Physics from Southampton. 

Pawan Patil - is a Supply Chain and Operations professional with extensive experience managing global operations within the retail industry. He currently serves as an Operations Team Lead at AS Watson (Superdrug & Savers), focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, optimising stock control, and driving data-driven process improvements across UK and Ireland distribution networks. Previously, Pawan worked with Beqsue and GXO Logistics, supporting international supply chain initiatives in production planning, logistics management, and strategic process optimisation. His work bridges the gap between data analytics and operational execution, enabling organisations to make smarter, faster, and more sustainable business decisions. Pawan holds a master's in international business from the University of Leeds and an Executive Program in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He is certified in Supply Chain Analytics, Lean Six Sigma, and Power BI, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT UK). 

Christiana Amao - is a Product Manager with expertise in enterprise technology, and delivering cross-platform solutions. At the London Stock Exchange Group, she leads data and analytics products that leverage AI to transform decision-making and workflows for global financial institutions. With a background in psychology and behavioural science, she delivers intuitive, human-centred experiences that balance innovation with operational efficiency. She has worked in the UK, US and Nigeria and now, guides a team of diverse stakeholders across 10+ countries in shipping scalable solutions that unlock tangible client value.
