Economist ranks Leeds MBA amongst world’s best

The Leeds Full-time MBA is 78th in the world and 10th in the UK, according to the latest Economist Which MBA? Rankings 2019.

Against specific criteria, the School is placed:

  • 8th in the world and 5th in the UK for student quality
  • 22nd in the world for personal development/education experience – a rise of three places from 2018
  • 30th in the world for internationalism of alumni

Dr James Roberts, Programme Director for the Full-time MBA commented: “I am really delighted to see that the quality of our MBA programme has been acknowledged by the Economist, particularly in terms of the professional development and education experience we offer here in Leeds. This is a credit to the hard work and dedication of our staff as well as of the quality of our students and alumni.”

The league table comprised a two-stage survey, which included input from Business Schools, current MBA students and the MBA alumni class of 2017.

This news follows shortly after the School was included in the Financial Times Masters in Management Rankings 2019, where it was placed 10th in the UK and 78th globally. Once again the School’s careers services were recognised, with Leeds coming 8th in the UK and 29th overall for career progress of alumni.
