Profile
I am an Assistant Professor of International Business at Leeds University Business School and currently the LUBS Research Lead for Cheney Fellowship Project (24-26). Prior to this, I served as the Departmental Director for Internationalisation (21-24), Programme Director for MSc International Business@Leeds (2019-22), a Senior Teaching Fellow and completed a LITE Transformation Fellowship. Before Leeds, I was a Lecturer in International Business based in Sheffield Business School and was the PhD Academic Support tutor and MRes Course leader.
Before embarking on an academic career, I worked in the corporate sector - having worked in IBM and with United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), New Delhi.

Research interests
My research interests are centered around two broad areas
a. Internationalisation to and from emerging markets,
b. MNE global strategy and institutional/ systemic approaches.

I have published in R&D Management, Industrial Marketing Management, International Marketing Review among others and review regularly for leading IB journals such as Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of World Business, Journal of International Business Policy among others, as well as for annual AOM and AIB conferences.
I am a member of the Editorial Review Board of Journal of International Business Studies.
