Dr Christina Papadopoulou

Profile

Christina is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Marketing at Leeds University Business School. She holds a BSc in Applied Informatics from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece. After her undergraduate studies, Christina moved to Budapest, Hungary where she worked as a Marketing and Events Manager for a large multi-art centre. Later, she obtained an MSc in International Marketing Management and a PhD in International Marketing from the University of Leeds.

Before joining Leeds University Business School, Christina was a Lecturer in Events and Marketing Management at Leeds Beckett University. She also served as Vice Chair of International Relations at AMA DocSIG. Her primary research focus is international marketing strategy and mindset, whilst further areas of interest include managerial decision making processes and brand management. Christina is a regular reviewer for academic journals (including the Journal of Business Reasearch, International Marketing Review and Journal of Marketing Management), whilst her research is frequently presented at leading academic conferences (AMA, AMS, GMC and more). She has also acted as an external consultant for Leeds City Council in the UK.
