TOSCA Seminar Series
We have been extremely fortunate to host Professor Stan Karanasios for three seminars in June 2026, as well as many one-to-one meetings with our staff and postgraduate researchers.

"Papers that Publish and Theory that Counts", which considered the do's and don'ts of publishing, how to craft compelling arguments and the role of theory and theorising,

"Digital Representations", discussing Stan's work on the use of VAR in sport, and
-
"AI in Organisations: incremental change, methodological challenges and translation for practice", which explored current discourse around AI in the IS literature, conceptual models of adoption and implications for different organisations.
Stan is a highly respected IS scholar, journal editor and a cherished friend of LUBS. We are very grateful for his time and insights, and look forward to his future visits.
