7th Industrial Marketing Management Summit

The 7th Industrial Marketing Management Summit aims to continue the tradition of fostering debate, sharing cutting-edge research, and advancing the effectiveness and efficiency of industrial markets.

Industrial Marketing Management (IMM) is the leading outlet for theoretical, empirical, and case-based research geared to the needs of marketing scholars and practitioners researching and working in industrial and business-to-business markets. The journal’s global reach is evidenced by the fact that international scholars and practitioners from all regions of the globe share their latest findings for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of industrial markets. This comprehensive approach has helped to keep readers abreast of the timeliest research and practice necessary for better marketing decisions and strategy in global industrial and business-to-business markets.

The 7th Industrial Marketing Management Summit aims to continue the tradition of fostering debate, sharing cutting-edge research, and advancing the effectiveness and efficiency of industrial markets. The summit will feature recent advancements in theory and practice within global industrial and business-to-business marketing. Building upon the success of previous summits and the rich legacy of IMM, this event promises engaging discussions, thought leadership, and practical solutions. We are excited to introduce several new elements this year, including a doctoral summit, as well as an academic-practitioner event.  

The doctoral summit will feature doctoral dissertation research in industrial and business-to-business marketing topics. Selected students will have the opportunity to work with a mentor from among the senior faculty in attendance, as well as to present their work at the doctoral summit and obtain valuable feedback. Attendees at the doctoral summit also can look forward to a series of talks covering a wide range of topics.

Doctoral colloquium Monday 8th January (13:30 to 17:30)
IMM Summit opening Tuesday 9th January (9:00 AM)
Gala Dinner Wednesday 10th January (18:00 at Royal Armoury Museum)
Academic/Practitioner event Thursday 11th (14:00 to 17:30)

 

An informal get-together is scheduled for the evening of Tuesday 9th January 2024. Registration for the IMM summit will commence on Tuesday 9th January and will continue through Thursday 11th January. One dinner (Wednesday) and three lunches (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) are included in the conference fee. An award ceremony featuring the best doctoral paper and the best conference paper will take place during the gala dinner on Wednesday 10th January. We will complete the final programme once it is clear which papers have been accepted. The final program will include details about the conference fee, address of venue, etc. 
  
The deadline for paper submission has now passed.

Following the conference, and as in past years, authors of selected papers will be invited to submit to a special issue of IMM.
