LUBS alumni lead the way in innovation and leadership in Lagos

The Business School brought the Leeds alumni community together in Lagos, Nigeria on Thursday 28 August 2025 for an evening of insight, innovation, and connection at The Art Hotel, Victoria Island.

Hosted by Oyedapo Oyeyemi, University of Leeds Country Manager (Nigeria), the evening welcomed alumni from both the Business School and the wider University for a panel discussion, networking, and a paint-and-sip session. The combination of professional engagement, creative activity, and refreshments gave graduates a chance to reconnect with old friends, reminisce about their time in Leeds, and expand their networks in a welcoming atmosphere.

The panel explored how Leeds University Business School alumni are driving change, fostering innovation, and shaping solutions across key sectors in Nigeria. Graduates shared stories of leading with creativity, entrepreneurship, and innovation, delivering real impact while navigating the opportunities and challenges of Nigeria’s rapidly evolving markets.
