Profile

I am currently a PhD student at Leeds University Business School. My academic journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Taibah University, followed by a master’s degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Sheffield. Before starting my PhD journey, I worked as a lecturer in Management Information Systems, where I gained valuable experience teaching a range of courses in the field.

Research interests

Following my master’s studies, I developed a strong interest in understanding the human side of technology from a socio-technical perspective. My research interests centre on how individuals perceive, trust, and interact with emerging technologies, with particular attention to the psychological, emotional, and behavioural aspects of these interactions. I am also interested in understanding how these experiences influence technology acceptance and use, as well as their wider implications for businesses and organisations.
