Dr Alessio Bongiovanni

Profile

Alessio Bongiovanni is a Lecturer in Banking and Finance in the Accounting and Finance Department at the University of Leeds. Before joining Leeds, he was a Lecturer and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Financial Markets and Institutions at the University of Turin. He has held visiting positions at the Bank of Lithuania, the University of Orléans and Bangor University.

Research interests

Alessio’s research interests include bank stability and risk, bank governance and sustainable finance.

  • Msc Corporate Finance and Financial Markets, University of Turin

Student education

Alessio has experience in teaching a range of modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Derivatives, FinTech, Portfolio Theory and Management, Capital Markets, and Financial Markets and Institutions. Currently, he teaches Database and Data Management at doctoral level.
