Since leaving Leeds, Dr Paul Rugangria has rejoined his previous employer, the Institute of Finance Management in Tanzania, where he has dedicated his time to research and teaching. Afterwards, he was appointed to establish a new campus of the Institute, of which he became the Director. Currently, he is actively involved in promoting green and low-carbon transformation programs, particularly afforestation. Additionally, he holds the position of Independent Non-executive Director at Bank of India, Ltd, Tanzania.
