MSc Consumer Analytics and Marketing Strategy 2018
How did you hear about the Business School and why did you choose to study here?
I actually chose Leeds University Business School for my undergraduate degree, and decided to continue at Leeds for Masters level. The most important factor for me is flexibility and choice in degree programmes.
What is the best part of your studies? What are you enjoying the most?
I really enjoy the hands-on focused applied nature of the assignments.
Do you have any noteworthy achievements from your study at the Business School that you can tell us about - eg prizes, highest scores etc?
Dean's Prize for Citizenship
This prize is awarded to a final year student on an undergraduate programme within Leeds University Business School for outstanding service or contributions to the School, University or Community.
Student Representative of the Year
Winner of the University wide Student Representative of the Year award. It is presented to one student out of over 650 course and school (i.e. faculty) representatives. The award is based on the quality of nominations received from staff and students.
I will be presenting my undergraduate research in the Houses of Parliament on 20 February (2018) and am presenting at three academic conferences.
Positive Impact Award
Winner of the Business School Positive Impact Award category and shortlisted for the University Positive Impact Award category. I was the only student out of 34,000 to make the shortlist in 2016/17.
What is your impression/experience of the facilities, the staff, your peers, the student union, the City of Leeds and the Yorkshire region?
The academic staff at Leeds University Business School are fantastic, really know their stuff, as the awards and accreditations show, so we in turn become more knowledgeable about our area of study and the wider business world. On top of that, the Business School offers lots of opportunities to develop yourself - volunteering, awards, and extra-curricular schemes such as the examples above, and more.
