Top universities support graduates with career event in Nigeria

The University of Leeds joined together with 12 UK universities to host an alumni career event in Lagos, Nigeria on 30 April 2018.

The event was created to highlight job opportunities and offer a platform for graduates to meet leading employers in Nigeria.

Both University of Leeds and LUBS alumni attended the event and were able to meet with over 20 employers. 

Laure Beaufils, UK Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria said ‘There is no doubt that the event was a great opportunity for employers as they actively seek to identify talents to deliver on their business priorities’.

Due to the event’s success, they hope it will become an annual event in 2 or 3 major cities in Nigeria.
