No matter what career direction you decide to pursue, a clear understanding of what you have to offer and what you want from your career is crucial in determining your actions to make that happen. In this webinar, Jane Barrett will introduce you to a structured approach to career planning to help you navigate the career opportunities and decisions in your future. The session will cover:

  • An introduction to the Career Assessment Process – What do you want? What can you offer? Why this is important to recruiters and to you?
  • How to start your research, with a focus on researching career change
  • How research fits with the next steps of your career strategy and how it leads into networking

 During this session, you will be given instructions on how to access the online career strategy programme ‘Career Maximiser’. Please note there are limited spaces on the programme.

About the speaker

Jane Barrett is the Co-Founder of The Career Farm and has had direct experience of recruiting at all levels from blue-chip clients, private companies and start-ups across a variety of sectors. Based in the UK she has recruited internationally and worked in the USA and Asia. Jane is author of the book 'Taking Charge of Your Career' and host of the podcast 'Grow your own career' on iTunes.
