Join fellow alumni in Abuja and hear from legal practitioner and alumna, Olamide Adekunle (LLM International Trade Law, 2012). Olamide will talk about her career progression and offer motivational advice and guidance on how to move ahead in your professional career. 

Alumni will also have the opportunity to get involved in an interactive session and network with fellow alumni. 

There is no charge for this event but places are limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.

About the speaker

Mrs Olamide Adekunle earned her Law degree from Obafemi Awolowo University and then proceeded to the Nigerian Law School where she was called to the Nigerian bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria. She then proceeded to the University of Leeds and graduated with a Masters degree in International Trade Law and Investment.

She is a member of several local and international professional bodies such as the International Federation of Women Lawyers, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Negotiation and Conflict Management Group(NCMG) and the Nigerian  Bar Association. 

Olamide’s work experience spans from Non Governmental Organizations, to a Presidential Campaign Organization and Law firms.

She presently works in Afe Babalola & Co, one of the biggest law firms in Nigeria and her area of legal expertise includes litigation, arbitration and legal consultancy.

Olamide loves to dance, read, travel and eat. She is married and blessed with two children.
