Join fellow alumni in Lagos and hear from HR professional and alumnus, Ibukunoluwa Adebayo (MA Diversity Management, 2014). Ibukunoluwa will talk about his career progression and offer motivational advice and guidance on how to move ahead in your professional career. 

Alumni will also have the opportunity to get involved in an interactive session and network with fellow alumni.

About the speaker

Ibukunoluwa is a Human Resources and Diversity Management Professional, Business Consultant and Employability Coach. He is currently a HR Contractor with Chevron Nigeria Ltd and has experiences overtime cutting across a wide range of industries and sectors all equipping him with enviable and transferable skills to help others to be a better version of themselves. He had his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management from Covenant University and completed the Masters of Art in Diversity Management program at Leeds University Business School. 

He is the founder and principal consultant at IBKADEBAYO & Company (IA & Co) an Indigenous Startup Consulting, Coaching and Careers Management company in Lagos, focused on redefining HR Practices in Nigeria and Africa at large; using novel ideas, creative thinking and the application of technology, IA & Co seeks to fill the gap in the business space by providing cutting edge and affordable business consultancy and coaching services to Small and Medium scale enterprises.

Ibukun stands by the principles of being yourself and standing out in your own way with the central goal of affecting lives positively and this belief has shaped his general approach to life. He finds joy in meeting new people, making people happy and has been said by many to be friendly, an extreme extrovert, a good listener and friend. He hopes to inspire people to apply themselves to be more than they think they can be, ultimately to be a better version of themselves. He does this through his blog askibk.com and various other platforms online and offline where he shares his central message of self-improvement and development.

Ibukun is an avid speaker and trainer, has been featured in a nationwide publication and other local productions; he has also provided various services to Small and Medium scale enterprises as well as charities and advocacy groups across Nigeria and Internationally. He is the Director General of the Akinjide Adeosun Foundation, a foundation focused at building a pipeline of future leaders and he also volunteers to other Charities and Non-Governmental Organizations.
