100 Hours for the Planet Campaign

Join us from 1st to 7th June 2026, as the LUBS Alumni community comes together, to give 100 hours of care, commitment, and action for the planet we share and the future we are building.

Have you wondered what it would look like if a global community of changemakers alumni, students, and staff united around a single purpose? Welcome to 100 Hours for the Planet Campaign!

Log your hours for #100HoursForThePlanet

#100Hoursfortheplanet is a global virtual volunteering campaign. Its motto is simple: together, as the LUBS Alumni community, we give 100 hours of our time to the planet. That time could look like a beach clean-up in Mumbai, a tree-planting morning in Toronto or a quiet afternoon spent mentoring an underprivileged child.  There are no rules about what counts, only the shared conviction that every hour offered in service of our planet is an hour well spent.

How to take part

Participating is as easy as showing up and doing what you already care about. Once you have completed any SDG-focused volunteering activity, Log your hours for #100HoursForThePlanet and help us watch the collective total grow in real time. Share your experience on social media using #100HoursForThePlanet because every story shared inspires the next person to act.

Want to start your journey with us, in person?

If you are in Leeds, join us for our Campus Gardening Event on 3rd June, an afternoon of getting your hands wonderfully earthy, connecting with fellow LUBS Alumni members, and contributing to the green spaces that make our campus a place we all take pride in. Whether you are a seasoned gardener or have never held a trowel in your life, you are more than welcome.

Places are limited, so register below to secure your spot.
