Bank of England public speech

The Business School is honoured to welcome Huw Pill, Chief Economist and Executive Director for Monetary Analysis and Research at the Bank of England, as guest speaker for a public lecture.

The event is hosted by the Accounting and Finance Department in collaboration with the International Banking Institute (IBI).

In his speech, Huw will draw on the latest research, including by staff at the Bank of England, to discuss evidence on the Central Bank’s balance sheet. As part of this, Huw will reflect on how targeted research can drive key policy debates, and where future research may be of particular value.
