Dr. Davood Shiri is Associate Professor of Supply Chain Analytics at the University of Leeds Business School, within the Analytics, Technology and Operations Division. Prior to joining Leeds, he worked as a Lecturer in Operations Management and Decision Sciences at the University of Sheffield. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management from Koç University, Istanbul, Türkiye, and a BSc and MSc from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. His research focuses on online optimisation and decision-making under uncertainty, with applications in humanitarian logistics, healthcare operations, and sustainable supply chains. He has published in leading journals such as Transportation Research Part B and the European Journal of Operational Research, and is currently engaged in international research collaborations funded by the Eureka ITEA4 programme and Horizon Europe.
