Professor Kandola appears in BBC Capital article

On 20 February 2018, Professor Binna Kandola, Business Psychologist and Visiting Professor at the Business School, was featured in an article published by BBC Capitalon cabin crew dress codes.

The article entitled What dress codes really mean for cabin crew discusses the restrictions certain dress codes can have on the practicalities of completing a job in highly pressured situations.  Professor Kandola comments:

"Dress codes that require women to wear more feminine clothes send a clear message about men and women’s perceived roles in the workplace and often have little to do with the actual requirements of the job."
