IB Department Celebrates Outstanding Success at the LUBS Partnership Awards 2026

The International Business (IB) Department is proud to announce and celebrate the exceptional achievements of its staff and students at the LUBS Partnership Awards 2026.

The achievements mark another year of excellence across teaching, student support, and academic leadership.

This year’s awards highlighted the remarkable contributions made across the MSc International Business and BSc International Business programmes. Colleagues and students alike demonstrated an unwavering commitment to enhancing learning, supporting wellbeing, and enriching the overall student experience. Their efforts reflect the Department’s longstanding dedication to academic excellence and its collaborative, student‑centred culture.

    Celebrated for exceptional academic and personal tutoring across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, ensuring students feel supported, guided, and valued.

  • Caifei – Highly Commended, Teacher of the Year
    Commended for inspiring teaching practice and innovative approaches that elevate student engagement and learning outcomes.

  • Laura – Highly Commended, APT of the Year
    Acknowledged for exemplary pastoral and academic support, contributing to an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

  • Faisal – Winner, Mentorship Award
    Honoured for impactful mentorship that has supported the professional development of students and colleagues across IB and LUBS.

Reflecting on the achievements, Professor Faisal Ahammad, Head of the IB Department, commented:

I am pleased to see such great contributions from our IB academics and students across the MSc IB and BSc IB programmes. Our colleagues have consistently gone above and beyond to inspire students, improve learning experiences, and support the well-being of learners in the IB Department within the Faculty of Business.
