How did you hear about Leeds University Business School and why did you choose to study here?

I visited Leeds University Business School on two of its open days, and both occasions brought feelings of belonging. The Business School staff and students showed a genuine sense of enthusiasm, and for this I was instantly captivated.

What is the best part of your studies? What are you enjoying the most?

The vast opportunities that the Business School offers are amazing. My studies have already included Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics and Management, and this has given me a fascinating and diverse insight into the world of business.

Have you taken up any of the extra opportunities available to you and what was your experience of these eg. PASS scheme, work placement, study abroad, being an ambassador, student societies etc.? Any highlights?

I love how there are always new opportunities to learn and achieve at the Business School. I have already been able to join the Trading and Investment society, complete the Bloomberg Market Concepts course free of charge, and even sign up as a LUBS Student Ambassador.

What is your impression/experience of the facilities, the staff, your peers, the student union, the City of Leeds and the Yorkshire region?

Having never studied any business-related subjects before coming to Leeds, I was concerned that I would be at a disadvantage. However, the Business School staff are absolutely brilliant in ensuring that everyone is up to speed and given sufficient support.

Would you recommend the Business School to others who are considering studying here?

The passion that the Business School staff demonstrate is incredible, and the Accounting & Finance division's amazing reputation is absolutely no coincidence. For those looking for opportunities to learn and create great memories, I would certainly recommend Leeds!
