MSc management students visit ASDA Merchandising Centre of Excellence

On Friday 17th of March, a group of MSc Management students from the University of Leeds visited the Merchandising Centre of Excellence (MCE) at ASDA in Leeds.

The tour was led by Jess, a graduate of the LUBS BSc Economics program, who is now a manager at ASDA.

The students had a value-packed session about ASDA's strategy and learned about the data used for decision-making in the business. They were also given a tour of the MCE shop floor, where concepts are tested.

It was a great experience for the students, who were able to gain an insight into the inner workings of a major retailer.

Thank you to Asda for hosting our students and also to Anna France and Emily Crosbie for organising the trip.
