UK No. 1 for Business Administration in ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking
The University of Leeds has been placed 1st in the UK and 22nd globally in the ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2020 for Business Administration.
Published annually since 2009, the ranking is part of the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU). The 2021 results are based on papers published in top tier journals, citations and collaborations.

“To be placed 1st in the UK for business administration, and to have moved up from 40th to 22nd in the world, is significant. These rankings are another endorsement of our research-intensive credentials that underpin learning and teaching here at the Business School. Many of the world’s challenges are complex and dynamic and to address these challenges we take a collaborative approach, working with partners locally, nationally and globally, in order to have a significant impact on business and society.”
The School was also ranked in the top 76-100 globally for both Management and Economics subject categories.
