Positive Impact Rating rates Leeds University Business School as a Level 4 Transforming Schoo

The Faculty of Business has once again been recognised as a Level 4 ‘Transforming School’ in the Positive Impact Rating.

This is a global student-led assessment of how effectively business schools deliver societal impact through their culture, education and engagement.

This year’s result reflects strong performance across governance, culture and programme content, and continued progress in embedding responsible business practices. The assessment also highlights the strength of student engagement, with thanks to Kaan Callaghan, Student Sustainability Champion, for his role in supporting this work.

This success also sits within a wider University context of sustainability support and enegagement. In 2026, the University achieved its highest ever position in the QS Sustainability Rankings, placing 24th out of 2,002 universities worldwide and joint ninth in the UK, reflecting the central role sustainability plays across our community.
