Hanoi alumni reconnect and share memories of Leeds
The Business School was delighted to host an alumni networking and social event in Hanoi last week.
Alumni joined Kirsty Setz-Clarke, our International Recruitment and Marketing Manager for an informal evening of socialising over drinks and canapes at Mint Bar in the Pullman Hotel, Hanoi. During the event it was great to see our alumni reconnecting, sharing memories about the city, friends they have in common, local foods they miss, and how life has developed for them since graduating.
Alumni from a range of graduating years and various programmes came to the event. The diversity of graduating programmes demonstrates how valuable our portfolio is and how Leeds University Business School can offer internationally recognised and beneficial study options for anyone interested in the field of Business.
After hosting the social event, Kirsty said: “It was great to catch up with our alumni, hear them reconnect with each other and share stories and memories of the things they loved and miss about their time at Leeds. They have all gone on to have successful careers, some at global cooperations and others going into support their successful family businesses. Some had even taken part in the mentoring scheme for our newly graduated alumni, sharing their knowledge and establishing the value of global networking. There was discussion about organising a future event and so I am looking forward to taking part in this and getting even more alumni involved.”
The Business School looks forward to hosting similar events in the future to strengthen our global alumni community, so keep checking our website for our latest events, news and updates and see how you can get involved.
