Celebrating Africa Day with our alumni in Nigeria

Alumni came together for a social event in Lagos, Nigeria to celebrate Africa Day.

The event, part of the larger Africa Week celebrations, brought together graduates for an evening of networking, celebration and professional engagement over refreshments. The evening was hosted by University of Leeds Country Manager in Nigeria, Oyedapo Oyeyemi, and was attended by alumni from the Business School and across the wider University.

Held at the upscale Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel in Victoria Island, the elegant dinner setting provided an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with old friends, reminisce about their time in Leeds, and expand their professional networks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Throughout the evening, alumni engaged in lively conversations, sharing their professional journeys and personal experiences since graduating from Leeds which helped to foster personal and professional connections, where they were able to network, exchange ideas and discuss potential collaborations.

The evening was a great success, and alumni who attended really enjoyed connecting with each other and sharing their stories. They are already looking forward to attending more alumni events in the future!

The Business School looks forward to hosting similar events in the future to strengthen our global alumni community, so keep checking our website for our latest eventsnews and updates and see how you can get involved.
