Young Entrepreneur Soraya Rosadha Wins Futuremakers Award
Soraya Rosadha (MA Corporate Communications and Public Relations, 2013) has recently won the ‘Futuremakers Award Germany’ in the ‘Business Progress’ category.
The Futuremakers Entrepreneurship Programme, an initiative backed by the Standard Chartered Foundation (SCF), is part of the global Futuremakers initiative to address inequality and promote economic inclusion. It supports young entrepreneurs and youth-led SMEs in Germany who have demonstrated exceptional resilience in navigating business projects through economic challenges.
The ‘Business Progress’ category celebrates entrepreneurs who exhibit a remarkable ability to identify and seek opportunities for themselves and their business, whilst continually adapting and improving their businesses. These individuals inspire and motivate others to push the boundaries of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Soraya Rosadha, alongside her husband, founded Aiku Technologies GmbH, a tech consulting firm with a mission to harness the power of technology to bring out the best in people. Specialising in developing customised software and applications leveraging artificial intelligence in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. At the heart of Aiku Technologies' mission is the commitment to supporting healthcare professionals by streamlining processes and automating tasks, enabling them to dedicate more time to strategic activities.
Soraya's journey from being a newcomer to Germany, with limited knowledge of the local business landscape and customs, to establishing a thriving tech consultancy firm, is a testament to her unwavering determination and entrepreneurial spirit.
Soraya expressed her gratitude after winning the award, "receiving the Futuremakers award in Business Progress is a testament to the education and support from Leeds University Business School. Leeds equipped me with skills to innovate, lead, and make a meaningful impact on a global scale. I am proud to represent our Business School across Europe and beyond as a University of Leeds alum".
