MBA Student awarded Chartered Management Consultant status
Abhilash Ramesh (MBA 2022) was recently awarded the status of Chartered Management Consultant, joining the exclusive 2% of management consultants in the UK who hold this prestigious accreditation.
Abhilash completed his Masters of Business Administration with Leeds University Business School in 2022, graduating with distinction and receiving a place on the Dean’s Merit List.
Alongside his MBA, Abhilash has worked as a Consultant for the civil engineering company, Mott MacDonald. Since graduation he has moved into the role of Management Consultant, managing bids and global international development projects across a wide range of sectors.
When asked about why he chose Leeds University Business School and the MBA programme, Abhilash commented:
When I heard of the Leeds MBA, I knew that I wanted to be part of the cohort and gain the skills required to stand out in the crowd. As the cohort attracts students from all over the world, and different cultures and ideologies, the learning environment allowed me to develop a cross-cultural business mindset and grow professionally.
During his studies, Abhilash took part in the International MBA Study Tour to Audencia Business School in France, and was also a winner of the National Economic Paper Case Competition which aims to promote inclusive economic development through policy interventions. Commenting on his time at Leeds, Abhilash said:
The University facilities and faculty are nothing less than world class. Leeds is a vibrant and bustling student city. I shall always cherish the bonds and friendships made during my time at Leeds. The curriculum has helped in nurturing my personality as well.
The Business School offers its sincere congratulations to Abhilash on this distinguished achievement.
