How did you hear about the Business School and why did you choose to study here?

I chose to apply to Leeds University Business School because of its reputation and teaching qualities – and I am delighted to be a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship recipient.

What is the best part of your studies? What are you enjoying the most?

Each modules has lectures, seminars and workshops or lab sessions. By the end of my degree, I will emerge as a student who can read as well as a law graduate, compute as well as an Accountant, analyze data as well as a Statistician. I can utilise some with coding like a computer scientist and present like a public speaker.

What are your career aspirations? Do you think the experience and skills you will gain on your course will help you in your future career plans? In what way?

I will be furthering my study after now. My present course has opened me to several areas of research which I will be working on in years to come.

Do you have any noteworthy achievements from your study at the Business School that you can tell us about eg prizes, highest scores etc?

I was voted Course Representative for MSc Economics, which is a great opportunity to represent students’ views and form a link between the students and the University.

What is your impression/experience of the facilities, the staff, your peers, the student union, the City of Leeds and the Yorkshire region?

It’s great. The people are so friendly and always willing to help, more than I ever imagined. This place is fast becoming my home.

What would you say your defining memory of studying here was? (eg friendships made, confidence in your abilities, or any single event that you will always remember?)

Friendship and the conducive learning environment.

Would you recommend the Business School to others who are considering studying here?

Yes, five of my friends have applied already while two have been offered an admission already.
