Leeds partners with Grant Thornton UK
Students will combine academic excellence with paid work experience as part of a new degree programme in partnership with Grant Thornton UK.
Talent Track, a new, exclusive four-year BSc Accounting and Finance (Professional) degree programme, will be delivered by the University and the leading business and financial advisory firm.
Students will take multiple paid work placements across the first, second and fourth years of their degree and a full year placement with Grant Thornton during the third year.
Through internships, a full-year placement, mentoring and direct employer engagement, students will gain the knowledge, confidence and professional networks to support their future careers.
Following completion of the degree, graduates will be considered for permanent roles with Grant Thornton, including the potential for an Associated Chartered Accountant (ACA) training agreement and a fast-track route to qualification.

The first cohort will start in September 2026. Students will have the opportunity to access Grant Thornton mentors, who will help develop professional skills and employability. The course will also include guest speakers and professional insight sessions to help with students’ development.
