Emma is a teaching fellow and programme director for the MSc in Information Systems and Information Management. Emma completed her PhD at Leeds University Business School in 2018, exploring information behaviour and police use of social media. She is currently co-leading a research project exploring the use of ICT within the UK Fire and Rescue Service, funded by the Home Office, and has recently worked within the AIMTech Research Centre in Leeds University Business School on a large national project exploring policing, information and technology in the UK. Prior to joining the university, Emma has previously worked as a research assistant at St Chads College, Durham University and Teesside University on a variety of private and public sector funded projects, including an evaluation of O2/Telefonicas corporate social responsibility programme, Think Big.
