Description
The research team is working with high-growth British commercial and social entrepreneurs to understand the short-term and long-term impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on entrepreneurial survival, growth, and innovation. We are interested in understanding how entrepreneurs are reacting to the crisis to both preserve their firms and reorient to new market conditions.
As part of this project, we will carry out repeat interviews with high growth entrepreneurs over the next 18 months. The aim is to understand how the impacts of the crisis change over time along with their responses and strategies. Through this, we will examine what resources entrepreneurs use and how their situation is affected by their geographies, backgrounds, and sectors as they navigate the pandemic.
This will allow us to produce guides for UK entrepreneurs that identify best practices that will help them survive and thrive as well as provide advice to local and national policymakers about best to support the UK entrepreneurial community.
