  • Jaejin Lee is a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds Business School, specialising in HR/People Analytics, and engaged in Data Analytics and HRM master's course. He is convinced that employing HR/People Analytics for decision-making can significantly drive business growth and enhance employee satisfaction. Jaejin gained comprehensive experience in various HR functions, including strategic planning consulting, recruitment, learning and development (L&D), and onboarding at E-Land Group, one of the major conglomerates in South Korea. Notably, he authored the book, Business Partner: HR Analytics (Korean), in 2020, which provides insights into the use of data analytics in HR practices. Jaejin holds a BSc in Mathematics from Hanyang University and an MSc in Human Resource Management from the University of Exeter. At present, he is a Ph.D. candidate in HR Analytics at the University of Leeds.

Research interests

Jaejin’s main research interests are in the fields of HR/People Analytics and Digital HR. He is widely interested in adopting and using technologies in the HR domain, including but not limited to digital transformation, data analytics, AI(machine learning), and automation. In HR, which has previously relied more on intuition and experience, Jaejin believes that data-driven approaches can make better work and life in our society by hiring, training, and deploying the right people at the right time and in the right way.
