Profile

I completed my PhD at Leeds University supervised by Professor Irena Grugulis and Dr Hugh Cook. My research has a focus on knowledge transfer, communities of practice and the process of unlearning. I am a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and an accredited work-based mediator (MCIARB). i have an interest in informal dispute resolution for grievances at work. I work on a part-time (0.5FTE) basis. 

Research interests

My research has focused on front line firefighters and how they share knowledge, unlearn and work together in communities of practice. I completed a Knowledge Transfer Partnership at Leeds University. This project considered the emotionakl labour of debt collectors and how they navigate emotion in the workplace.
