Alumni event tour of Taiwan and Thailand

Lynn Pattison, Senior Teaching Fellow (Professional Development) at Leeds University Business School hosted a number of alumni events in Taiwan and Thailand in February. 

Lynn started her tour in Taipei with an interactive workshop about resilience in the workplace. Resilience is often a quality sought by recruiters and managers. Lynn explored the concept of resilience, discussing why resilience can be an important quality for career development, offering advice to delegates on how to develop resilience in the workplace.  

Lynn ended her tour in Bangkok where she talked about Emotional Intelligence (EI) and its increasing importance for professional success. She explored ways to develop working relationships, and how EI can influence team and leadership skills.

Again, the workshop was followed by informal networking and alumni enjoyed sharing memories of their time at Leeds and catching up with friends and graduates.
