I work closely with Prof. Dubey and also colleagues at Cambridge University Institute for Manufacturing on the reconfiguration of supply chains with respect to conflict zones, catastrophic disruptions and distributed manufacturing. I am on the review panel of the prestigious EuROMA Chris Voss Award and an external examiner of the MSc in Financial Risks and Projects (City Uni, London). In 2021, ranked 5th most influential scholar in supply chain digitalization.SInce 2016, I have co-organized organized special themed workshops on resilience, distributed manufacturing and the automotive industry at the annual Cambridge University International Manufacturing Symposium. Attended by world leading thinkers and industrialists from pharma, automotive, aerospace, electronics, shipping, warehousing, defence sectors.. Since 2021, I have co-organized special themed IJOPM impact pathways sssions at the annual EurOMA conference.  .

IJOPM. Associate Editor Impact Pathways Section. 

The focus is on fast-tracking papers with high originality, practice-based and focused on impact-based theoretical development.  We have had 20 accepted papers since 2020. With an unbelievable 1611 google scholar citations. Van Hoek’s paper on COVID-risks in 2020 has had 24715 downloads making it one of the most highly influential papers on COVID-19 and operations and supply management. The article tops Scopus for the most higly cited paper on COVID-19 and SCM at 384 citations. Graham and his team have organized and participated in three special development sessions on the section at EUROMA 2021; 2022 and 2023.
